    Carolyn - yes, it is slices I cut from bottles then fused together in the kiln. I play with glass! I have another blog for my studio - http://playingwithglass.blogspot.com

    Lindy - the shape just kind of came about, I wasn't actually going for anything in particular, but it does resemble the recycle symbol.
